How it chooses
Nyxwing scores cunning above everything and holds loyalty cheap. It watches for the rider who found the other way, took the lockpick, and built a better lie than the one they were handed.
If you answered fast and sideways, it was already circling. If you answered honestly, it lost interest around the third trial.
